Established in 2002, OneCard Solutions (OCS) is based in Waterford, Ireland and is an Irish and English market leader in campus card systems. OCS provides a wide range of highly reliable solutions that have advanced the development of card technology. OCS offers a vast range of services including identification, point of sale, access control, printing/photocopying, library access, and vending, as well as offering web-based and mobile phone value load options. OCS is a corporate member of the European Campus Card Association and is committed to delivering technologies, products and services for the Higher Education market
As Project Coordinator, OCS will lead the EECS Consortium and will be responsible for the overall management of the project. Their role will be to generate new scientific knowledge and technology for campus card systems and to facilitate end use demonstrations of the technology. OneCard Solutions will direct and tailor the work being executed by the R&D performers to the needs of their SME members and will be involved in disseminating the project information at conferences around Europe. OneCard Solutions will access the SME end users from their membership to assist in the validation of the technology from an end user point of view. The leadership provided by the SME for the dissemination into the SME end user community will add significant credibility to the technology after the end of the project having been validated by the representative industry body most closely related to the campus card system sector. OneCard Solutions will bring extensive knowledge and experience from the campus card industry both in terms of technical and logistical issues.
